Stripped room with wiring drops left ready for fixtures and finishes — drywall and repair service in Denver
Front Range soil moves, and drywall is where you notice it first — hairline cracks over door headers, seams that open at the ceiling line, nail pops down a hallway. Add doorknob punctures and furniture damage and drywall becomes the single most requested repair we get. Patching is the easy part; matching the surrounding texture so the repair disappears under paint is the part that takes practice.
What the visit covers
- Hairline settlement cracks cut out, taped and re-finished rather than filled over
- Doorknob holes and impact damage backed and patched to full thickness
- Nail pops reset and re-finished
- Orange peel, knockdown and light hand textures matched to the existing wall
- Ceiling seam and corner-bead repair
Questions about drywall repair
We can, and it is usually the same visit. Bring your existing paint if you have it; matching a wall that has faded is far easier with the original can.
On matched texture and a repainted wall, yes in most cases. On a wall that will not be repainted, a patch is always somewhat visible because surrounding paint has aged.
Usually not. Repeated cracking in the same place is movement in the structure or soil beneath it. We will repair it, but we will also tell you it is likely to return.
